Dear Readers, This is Syed again. I hope the previous article about the Tech stuff was cool and it provided enough knowledge about the concept it covered. But, this time I thought I will write something about the experience I had in life. Talking about life experiences, everyone has one thing that they always wanted to do in life but ended up doing the opposite. This happens most certainly to 90% of the people who have the utmost passion but failed to accomplish it. Yes, this is one of the topics where Men always talk and daydream about all the time. Hello! Don’t get any ideas!! I’m not gonna talk about any romantic story that I experienced and get you guys bored. Then what it would be? Ok, without further delay let’s hop into the topic.

Avalum Nanum (Her & Me)

Don’t get freaked again seeing the topic!! I swear it’s not about what you think. It all started back in June 2013 when I was doing my Bachelor’s degree. Yes, it was the same as one of the dreams that all boys have. So my dream was also to get my own Motorcycle. Relating to the topic ‘Her’ refers to the ‘Motorcycle’. Finally after enough drama that happened I got my very first own Motorcycle. The KTM Duke 200 was the bike that I always admired to buy. In the beginning, it was all about the speed that took control over me and I used to ride the bike very fast in between the traffic routes in the city enjoying my good old days.

Change of Phase

As the days pass by, I was continuously riding the bike from the city to my native during the holidays. Though I was in control riding the bike I was not much of a Professional. I was roaming around the city with friends and enjoy going on short rides. Over a few days, I got a chance to go on a ride with the professional Biker groups. It was completely new for me as a beginner to join for the ride with such a professionally organized group. I used to go on a ride with my friends with just a good helmet and a pair of shoes, but here those guys look like they are on a MotoGP track. Yes, lesson learned and I started saving all the money to buy the safety gear. So now the phase got changed and I was slowly moving from beginner to a Professional.

The Perfect Companion

One thing I learned about the Motorcycle is, the respect you gave the same respect you will get from it. As the days pass by I already started to realize that the Motorcycle was teaching me the stuff that I don’t know before. And with the perfect things all needed for the ride, I started to go on long rides where it felt like my soul purpose was getting fulfilled. The feeling you get when you start for the ride in the early morning, where you put up all your safety gear and start your Motorcycle wearing your crown(Helmet). The wind blowing towards me on the early morning rides sometimes speak what is there in my mind. The view you get to see through the Helmet was one of the best views I have ever experienced in life. It was the only day where I forget about all the other problems and enjoy the present moment of life.

“It’s not a phase its my life. It’s not a hobby its my passion. It’s not for everyone its for me.”

The Companion

Experiencing the Art of Riding

As years pass by, the one thing that did not stop was the rides I was going. After a while, I realized that riding fast doesn’t mean anything, so slowly my fast riding habit inside the city got reduced and started to ride long distances. The Motorcycle was the best companion I ever had in my life. “It never breaks your heart, it never hurts you and in case of emergency it is the one which gets the most damages”. So, what else could one ask for in life?. It’s been 7 years since I bought my Motorcycle, but until today I used to turn my head and take a look whenever I park somewhere. “It is always easy to get a new one but maintaining the existing one is the place where the heart lies”. I have already traveled to enough distances and have gone on solo rides to the group rides. After all these years, the one thing that keeps me riding is the passion and the feelings that I have got for this Motorcycle. People used to call me an idiot who is riding his bike on the Highway and traveling to very long distances. But I feel pity for these people because I’m already living my dream, it’s not that they didn’t see it through my eyes. I just want people to say keep doing what you have thrived for because one day you will get to know that it’s all worth it!!

2017

Conclusion

Today marks 7 years since I started my journey and I have achieved the milestone of 1 lakh kilometers. So I wanted to share my journey with you guys through this post. “I started when I was 19 , I’m continuing when I’m 26 and I will be riding when I’m 60. I would like to thank each and everyone who has been part of my extraordinary journey. Kudos! to all the rides we went so far and all the rides yet to come ❤. As people say that the best thing about Memories is making them, this is one of the best memory to cherish forever.
